During the 13th International Congress of stomatologists held in Batumi 14-15 July, 2017 a team of high quality specialists of “Divident” clinics from Yerevan together with their colleagues from the Batumi clinics “New Dent XXI” led by the IFZI instructor Davit Galstyan (consultant of the German company “bredent medical”) have demonstrated a number of high level master classes – the surgical operations as well as a training course on implantation issues. The practical training course on surgery was held on an artificial patient to demonstrate the surgical and orthopedic processes during the implantation.

Several presentations were made on different topics on prosthetics made on the implants, discussion was held on some difficult clinical cases.

During the Congress several demonstration operations were also presented to show the Zirconium implant White SKY in use. The process of the surgery on installation of zirconium implant White SKY made by German company “bredent medical” and installation of a temporary tooth. The White SKY represents a single-component implant from the Zirconium oxide – a biocompatible material. The implants made of that material are recommended to the patients who have allergy to metals.

The Zirconium implants are the most suitable ones to use for frontal group of teeth where the metal can be seen through soft tissues. As a results we will reach a high smile line, and thin biotype of the gum among the patients. The Zirconium implants gain more popularity to restore the beautiful smile of the patients thanks to their aesthetic effect and the perfect compatibility with the body tissues.

The white Zirconium does not cause an allergic reaction in the body and looks quite natural, like a real tooth.

The application of the Zirconium implants also excludes the translucence of the gray line along the edge of the gums, which can be observed when using metal.
In general surgery the Zirconium has long been used as a good implantation material. But only recently it has become indispensable in dentistry.

It became particularly popular recently when scientists in their studies on the safety and durability of bio ceramics proved that this material perfectly corresponds to the conditions of use in the jaw.

During the 13th International Congress Avtandil Matchavariani, DMD (Georgia), presented a lecture on making a crown on individual Bio Hpp abutments using Visio lign facets, and the individualization with composite-ceramic material Crea.lign made by German company “bredent”.

The events were organized by bredent Georgia company in cooperation with German bredent group.
