Armenian dentists presented innovative method for surgical implantation in Georgia

A group of Armenian dentists attended the “Third International Congress of Implantologists” held in Tbilisi April 24-26, during which Dr. Davit Galstyan (Divident dental clinic, Yerevan)  conducted complex operations with the use of innovative method offered and authorized by Bredent Medical company, Germany (www.bredent-medical.com). During the Congress Dr. Galstyan conducted an operation using Fast & Fixed concept (due to which after a single surgical intervention a fully edentulous person immediately leaves the operating room with new and functional teeth), as well as resorbed bone reconstruction using own bone tissue (an amount of bone is taken from one area of ​​the jaw (the donor site) and fixed in the area where atrophied bone should be reconstructed). During the above mentioned operations the doctor also conducted sinus lift surgery. Bone material made by Bredent Medical was used during the operations. Mixed with the bone of the patient and his blood it is placed in the bone scarcity sector, which over time becomes integrated into the man’s jaw forming a single entity.
